From our kitchen
Start with “one of those”.
The dishes you spot on the next table. The ones you order again. Here are three to get you thinking.

Northumberland Place, since 2013
A small room. A proper welcome.
Mihai and Roxanna opened Jars Meze in 2013. Today, the table still fills with Greek dips, grilled dishes and slow-cooked favourites. Come for a quick lunch or make an evening of it.
Find the jar above the door, just off the busy streets of central Bath.
Come and find us↘New to meze?
A good meal starts with a little sharing.
Something to dip.
Start with warm bread and a couple of dips. Tzatziki, hummous, or a little heat from tirokafteri.
Something for the middle.
Add a few meze plates. Mix hot and cold, vegetables and something from the grill.
Something worth lingering over.
Make room for slow-cooked lamb or a Greek sweet. There’s no need to decide everything at once.
Your next table
See you on Northumberland Place.
Lunch between the shops. Dinner with your favourite people. You’ll find us in the centre of Bath.
